Partner Perspectives: Brown and Cohen

The OLIP interns greatly enjoyed meeting with Howard Brown, President of Brown & Cohen Communications and Public Affairs, and Kayla Mouzos, Account Manager. We deeply appreciated the opportunity to host a session with a long-standing partner of our programme and to learn more about the esteemed organization, Brown & Cohen Communications & Public Affairs Inc.  

Brown & Cohen is a Toronto-based full-service public relations and government relations firm that supports organizations in raising their profile, strengthening their reputation, engaging with media, and navigating public policy and advocacy challenges across sectors and levels of government.

Accompanied by a thoughtful presentation, Howard shared his perspectives on non-partisan bridge-building and offered reflections drawn from a distinguished career spanning politics, government relations, strategic communications, and community service.  

As a recipient of Canada’s Governor General’s Medal and the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal, Howard brought not only a wealth of experience but also a spirit of generosity, offering meaningful advice to the next generation of public servants and leaders.
