Partner Blog: Professional Engineers Ontario

Established in 1922, Professional Engineers Ontario is the licensing and regulating body for professional engineering in Ontario. As the regulatory body for professional engineering in Ontario, PEO governs its members to serve and protect the public interest by ensuring all professional engineers meet rigorous qualifications for licensing. They also place emphasis on professional ethics and promoting public awareness for their role.

The role PEO fulfills in our province is one that often doesn’t get the credit or appreciation it deserves. Engineers are integral to our province, and they couldn’t safely perform their duties without proper professional oversight. We thank PEO for their work and for their continued support of OLIP.
