After much anticipation, the 47th OLIP year got underway earlier this month at Queen’s Park. The interns were lucky enough to experience orientation in-person and as such have enjoyed getting to know the legislative precinct in all its beauty.
The cohort’s first few weeks flew by in a blur of onboarding, team building, and meetings with some of OLIP’s wonderful supporters. In fact, during the thirteen days spent on-site, the OLIP interns managed thirty-two meetings. All this while the cohort dutifully completed other tasks such as their first intern photoshoot.
The interns will now settle into their individual Legislative Assembly branch placements for the next month.
