DEADLINE EXTENDED: The application deadline is October 23rd, 2020 at 5:00 PM

Thank you for your interest in the Ontario Legislature Internship Programme! For 45 years, the Ontario Legislature Internship Programme has welcomed recent university graduates to Queen’s Park to work with backbench Members of Provincial Parliament. Our non-partisan Programme was established by the Legislative Assembly of Ontario and the Canadian Political Science Association to provide a unique educational opportunity for young graduates, while offering practical support to Members.

This year, the Fall Placement will take place from November - February, and the Spring Placement will take place from March - June. If you are interested in having an intern work in your office during the current programme year, please click the above button to apply by completing the MPP Application Form.

Please note: once we receive your application, you will be contacted to schedule a 20-minute virtual interview with all ten Interns. We encourage the MPP and staff be present in the interview. The Interns will have questions based on this application as well as give you an opportunity to talk about yourself and your office.

We expect to inform you of our decisions on Friday Oct 30th. If selected for the Fall placement, your interns first day in your office will be November 3rd, 2020. If selected for the Spring placement, you will be notified that you are receiving an intern on Friday Oct 30th, and your intern's first day will be March 1st, 2021.

We thank you for your interest in OLIP and we look forward to another incredible year.
