We had the pleasure of meeting with Nusrat Zahan from the government relations team at Estée Lauder.
Estée Lauder has not only established itself as a leading company in the cosmetics industry but has also recognized the importance of engaging with governments and policymakers worldwide. Ms. Zahan shared that Estée Lauder is genuinely dedicated to upholding ethical standards, promoting sustainability, and contributing positively to the communities in which they operate.
The OLIP interns were surprised to learn about the various cosmetic brands under the Estée Lauder umbrella, such as The Ordinary and Tom Ford. Ms. Zahan spoke passionately about the company’s involvement in initiatives aimed at advancing sustainability, diversity, and inclusivity within the beauty industry and beyond.
We have met with many of our partners’ government relations teams, and it was fascinating to hear a GR perspective from the cosmetics industry, a sector we had yet to explore.
