Eric Osborne grew up in the town of Courtice, Ontario. A recent graduate of the University of Guelph, he earned an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science with a minor in French Studies. Eric worked as an analyst with the Office of the Commissioner of Official Languages, spending summers at their offices in Gatineau, Quebec and working from Guelph during his final year of undergrad. Fluently bilingual, Eric has a strong interest in Official Languages, Canadian history and politics. Eric focused his studies on the concept of the Canadian National identity and hopes that his time at Queen’s Park will provide him with a unique point of view of the Ontario Legislature within the whole of the Canadian political system.

Eric Osborne a grandi dans la ville de Courtice en Ontario. Il a récemment obtenu un baccalauréat ès art avec spécialisation en sciences politiques et mineure en études françaises de l’Université de Guelph. Eric a travaillé en tant qu’analyste au Commissariat aux langues officielles, où il a passé ses étés à Gatineau au Québec, et a travaillé depuis Guelph lors de la dernière année de son programme. Parfaitement bilingue, Eric porte un grand intérêt aux langues officielles ainsi qu’à l’histoire et à la politique canadiennes. Pour ses études, Eric s’est concentré sur le concept de l’identité nationale canadienne et il espère donc que son passage à Queen’s Park lui donnera un point de vue unique du parlement ontarien au sein du système politique canadien.
