Jonathan Trentadue
Jonathan Trentadue was born and raised in Toronto, in the former municipality of Etobicoke. He attended St. Michael's Choir School for both elementary and secondary school, where he studied music and had the opportunity to sing across Canada and internationally.
Jonathan completed his BA (hon.) from the University of Toronto, with a double major in Political Science and Religion. While working towards his undergraduate degree, he worked extensively for the John P. Robarts research library, as well as volunteering with the University of Toronto multi-faith center initiative. Jonathan would continue his educational career at McMaster University, where he completed his MA in Political Science, with a specialization in Public Policy and Administration.
Outside of politics and government, Jonathan has always had a passion for food. More than just the preparation or the act of sharing it with friends and family, his passion extends to understanding the importance of food within different cultures, and the anthropological origins for certain practices or traditions associated with food and drink. Additionally, he maintains an interest in the study of classical history, with a focus on religion, which developed during the course of his undergraduate degree. Finally, Jonathan is also an avid Toronto Maple Leafs fan, as well as a soccer supporter of the Toronto FC, AS Bari, and AS Roma.
As a member of the 2009-2010 OLIP team, Jonathan could not be more excited to see what the next year has in store for him and all of the interns.
